Registration Information

INFORMATION ON THIS PAGE IS BEING REVISED FOR 2025

By registering, you attest that you have read and agree with the Athena Caledonian "Hold Harmless Agreement" which is included on the form. Form can be downloaded and filled out onscreen -- no need to print them first. Written signatures and registration fees (if required) will be collected when you check in at the festival area in Athena. Please SUBMIT YOUR COMPETED FORM VIA EMAIL NO LATER THAN THE SATURDAY BEFORE THE GAMES. Preferred method of submission is by email attachment (no digital photos, please). If you do not have access to email, please print and mail your form no later than June 25.

ATHLETESPlease register and pay your entry fee through EVENTBRITE.  If field capacity is not reached during online registration, field registration at the football field on South Fifth Street will open at 10:30 AM. The competition begins at noon. Depending on the number of entries, the competition may continue into the evening. Judging will be done by members of the Scottish American Athletic Association. On-site camping and restroom/shower facilities for athletes and their families may be available. A donation of $10 per night or $15 for both nights is requested if you camp on the school grounds. These donations may be submitted at the Information Booth in the park or given to the festival official who visits the camping area each evening.

CLAN TENTSRegistration is free. Email your form by April 30 if you wish your clan to be listed in the printed program; otherwise, send it by the Saturday before the Games to join the Clan Village located inside the park near the Third Street gate. Driving on the paved path in the park is allowed for unloading and reloading, but vehicles must be parked outside the park during the day. By request of the City of Athena, DO NOT DRIVE ON THE GRASS.

PARADE: Registration is free. To be eligible for judging, email your completed entry form no later than the Saturday beofre the GAMES. If you miss this deadline you will be allowed to participate, but your entry will not be included on the announcer's notes or be eligible to win a prize. Parade staging begins at 7:45 AM.  Signs will be posted to guide parade participants to the correct staging location.

VENDORSA $50 vendor fee is required, but if your booth and/or some of what you sell reflects a Scottish or Celtic theme, you will receive a $10 discount. Submit a brief description of your theme-related foods or items in the appropriate box on your vendor registration form and return via email no later than July 3.  Check-in is on Friday evening (6:00-7:30 PM) and Saturday morning (7:00 - 8:30 AM).  Call or text either Nick Seltmann (541-969-6929) or Kayla Durfee (541-969-7217) before you arrive at the Food Court or vendor area. A festival host must be present when you begin to set up your booth.

Food Vendors: The Food Court is on the corner of South Fifth Street and Park Lane. 

Merchandise Vendors: The vendor area is in the park. Driving on the paved path in the park is allowed for unloading, but vehicles must be parked outside the park during the day. By request of the City of Athena, DO NOT DRIVE ON THE GRASS unless a festival official is present to guide you!

NOTE: Overnight security is not provided.

All who register assume all responsibility for damaged, lost, or stolen items.

PLEASE NOTEThe new Caledonian Weekend Vehicle Show takes place on Main Street on the afternoon of Caledonian Day but is not part of the Caledonian Games and requires its own registration form. The vehicle show's Facebook page presents all the information you need to know to register and participate. All types of vehicles are welcome.  Check-in begins following the Caledonian Parade. Follow the signs to find the vehicle show staging area. If you wish to enter your vehicle in the Caledonian Parade, please complete and submit a Caledonian registration form.
