CAMPING

Overnight camping is permitted at designated areas near the Athena Grade School. Restroom-shower facilities and custodial services are provided by the school district. A per campsite donation of $10 (1 night) or $15 (2 nights) is requested to help pay for custodial services. Donations may be submitted at the Information Booth in the park or given to the festival official who visits the campsite area each evening.

No electrical or water hook-ups are available. Campers are responsible to keep the camping area tidy and to clean up after their pets, which must be leashed at all times and kept inside or kenneled when owner is not present.  NOTE: Athena Caledonian Games Association does not provide grounds security and is not responsible for damaged, lost, or stolen items.

COMMERCIAL LODGING & DINING

Athena currently has no overnight rental lodging and no short-term RV spaces. Commercial lodging is available within a 25-mile radius in Milton-Freewater and Walla Walla (if heading north), and at the Wildhorse Casino Hotel and Pendleton (if heading south). If for some reason you get hungry when the festival vendors are closed, Athena's two stores on Main Street have deli counters. A restaurant is also located in nearby Weston (3 miles).

HUNGRY?  THIRSTY?  WANNA GO SHOPPING?

Considering the array of tasty treats, delicious meals and frosty beverages offered by the talented vendors of the Caledonian Food Court, no one should have to be hungry or thirsty when attending the Caledonian Games!

Our merchandise vendors present a wide variety of wares with prices to match the capacity of any wallet. Local nonprofit groups may also host booths, and Caledonian offers an information table at which you can receive a free program booklet and answers to many (if not all) questions pertaining to the festival. Take time to visit each booth. You never know what treasures you'll find!
