The newest literary project of the Athena Caledonian Games Association is a collection of family stories published by Magic Dog Press of MIlton-Freewater. Many hours were dedicated to this effort by editors Sue Friese, Kayla Durfee, Debbie Patton and Michelle Kirby. The project was co-funded by the Umatilla County Cultural Coalition (UCCC), the Homer I. and Persephone B. Watts Memorial Trust, and Thistle Guardian Ken Bjorklund.

Because the mission of the Association is to preserve and perpetuate the Scottish heritage and traditions of Athena, "Tell It to Me Again" is a perfect project for us. We have collected family-related stories from local residents and guests who have attended the Caledonian festival over the years. A meaningful and impressive project, the book contains more than 160 pages filled with beautiful pictures, colorful tartans, and stories that reflect the varied and intriguing backgrounds of our many friends.

The first 100 printed copies became available from the Association for a special introductory price of $20 per copy in July 2023. Many copies were sold to the public during the first weeks after we received them. Each of Umatilla County's public libraries and the Oregon Historical Society library were gifted one copy each. Remaining copies were made available at the introductory price during the Athena Holiday Bazaar on the first Saturday of December. The book and Athena's Games were also showcased at the Fort Walla Walla Museum's "After Hours" live presentation on January 25, 2024. "Tell It to Me Again" is now available through Amazon.com.
